Direct transport instead of a network: when it pays off
In the groupage network your goods are transhipped several times – every transhipment costs time and increases the risk of damage. With direct transport the shipment stays in the same vehicle: sensible for time-critical goods (production supply, promotion start in the trade), for sensitive or high-value goods and whenever a fixed delivery time counts. Delivery is by slot or date, on request with notification of the consignee and proof of delivery via CMR consignment note. Part loads are also possible: if your pallet runs on an already-scheduled route, the price drops – with a firm date commitment still in place. Sensitive goods receive premium handling with padded loading and individual lashing.
Process and costs for sending goods
You give us the packages, dimensions and weight, the collection and delivery address and the date. We assign the right vehicle – with a tail lift for addresses without a ramp if needed – and quote you a transparent fixed price without hidden surcharges. Costs depend on loading metres or the number of pallets, the lane and deadline pressure; depending on lane and lead time we quote you a guide-value range in advance. Urgent shipments run as an express direct transport with collection within a few hours. Recurring traffic – such as the weekly supply of a production works or fixed branch tours – we plan as round trips with fixed collection and delivery windows; you receive collection and delivery confirmation without chasing.
Sending goods to non-EU countries with customs clearance
For consignees outside the EU we handle the complete process: export declaration, accompanying documents, border clearance and import clearance in the destination country – from EXW to DDP depending on the Incoterm. You provide the commercial invoice and packing list, and we take care of the rest until the goods stand cleared at the consignee. On request we check the commodity codes and document requirements of the destination country in advance, so the shipment does not get held up at the border for missing papers – this keeps even the first export plannable and calculable for your company. For sanctioned countries such as Russia, Belarus or Iran we check the sanctions situation in advance and take on only permissible goods and procedures.
