Case studies: how a transport runs at Speed Logistics

The following examples illustrate typical order flows on our core relations – from the urgent direct transport to project cargo. They show the real process and capability; these are representative scenarios, not named individual customers.

Vehicle technology and maintenance – the basis for reliable direct transports

Express direct transport · Automotive

Urgent spare-parts direct transport Berlin → Istanbul

Situation: A supplier urgently needs production parts at the plant near Istanbul – a looming line stoppage makes every hour expensive. Groupage with transhipment is ruled out.

Our solution: Speed Logistics dispatches an express direct transport without transhipment via the Balkan corridor (Hungary–Serbia–Bulgaria–Kapıkule), with a two-driver crew where required. The customs clearance incl. A.TR runs in parallel so that no time is lost at the border crossing.

Result: On this relation around 3 driving days to on-site delivery are usual – depending on the border situation – with continuous shipment tracking and a fixed point of contact.

Warehouse and picking for temperature-controlled shipments

Temperature-controlled · Pharma

GDP refrigerated transport Stuttgart → Riyadh

Situation: A temperature-sensitive pharma shipment has to reach Saudi Arabia GDP-compliant (uninterrupted cold chain 2–8 °C, complete documentation) – including SABER conformity in the destination country.

Our solution: The transport is handled via qualified, GDP-certified partner vehicles; Speed Logistics coordinates planning, temperature monitoring, papers (SABER/SASO) and the import clearance as a general contractor from a single source.

Result: The cold chain remains documented without gaps; depending on lead time and SABER status, the combined air/road handling is the fastest compliant option.

Container and project handling at the terminal

Project logistics · Oversized

Project cargo to Kazakhstan via the Middle Corridor

Situation: An oversized industrial component is to reach Central Asia in a sanction-compliant way – the northern route through Russia is ruled out, dimensions and weight require permits.

Our solution: Speed Logistics plans the relation via the Middle Corridor (Türkiye/Caucasus, Caspian ferry) with a suitable low-loader, organises permits, EAEU customs (T1/TIR) and the ferry slots – aligned with the realistic seasonal windows.

Result: The order runs as a planned project with reliable time windows instead of vague promises; honest transit-time communication included.

Picking and goods handling in the distribution centre

Full truckload · EU

Time-critical full truckload within the EU

Situation: A customer needs a full truckload (FTL) delivered on time to a recipient with a fixed ramp time slot – no customs, but zero tolerance on the delivery date.

Our solution: Direct transport without a hub, fixed capacity, advance notification to the ramp time slot and 24/7 dispatch as a fallback in the event of disruptions en route.

Result: Within the EU an on-time delivery in the booked window is the norm – with a fixed price set in advance.
