Tyre transport from a pallet to a full truckload
- Palletised car tyres – stacked lying in a composite or in mesh box pallets, typically 20–30 tyres per pallet

Stacking and securing correctly
Tyres without rims are stacked lying in a herringbone or cross pattern and fixed on the pallet with film or strapping – this keeps the carcass dimensionally stable. Complete wheels on rims stand vertically or lie in low stacks at most, so that rim flanges and valves are not damaged. In the vehicle, our drivers secure the load with load bars, lashing straps and anti-slip mats. For loose stowage of full loads, we handle the proper block stowage directly at the ramp. For delivery to workshops without their own ramp, we assign vehicles with a tail lift so the pallets can be unloaded at ground level; the driver checks the stowage before departure and documents deviations on receipt.
Seasonal peaks: plannability in spring and autumn
For the summer and winter tyre changeover, orders concentrate into a few weeks. During this time we run fixed replenishment direct transports from the tyre wholesaler to workshop chains and car dealers, deliver by slot or date and keep short-notice capacity available for urgent needs – such as when a size is missing on the fitting day. We also handle returns of used-tyre batches or transfers between tyre warehouses as separate journeys. Discuss your seasonal quantities with us early: whoever reserves capacity before the changeover wave gets fixed vehicles at fixed conditions instead of daily bottleneck prices.
Costs and international tyre transports
Costs depend on the number of pallets or loading metres, the lane and deadline pressure – tyres are volume goods, so the space requirement counts more than the weight. You receive a transparent fixed price from us without hidden surcharges; for the enquiry, the number of pallets, dimensions and deadline are enough. For regular lanes – such as weekly runs from the central warehouse into a region – we calculate round-trip conditions that can be well below single-journey prices. Besides Germany and the EU, we also move tyre batches to non-EU countries, such as Türkiye or North Africa, including complete export and customs clearance from EXW to DDP.
