Pallet Shipping – 1 to 30 pallets at a calculable fixed price

Pallet shipping is the standard solution for general cargo in B2B: goods stand secured on euro pallets (80 × 120 cm), billed at a fixed price per slot instead of for a whole truck. From 1 to 30 pallets, either in scheduled service (2–4 working days) or as a direct run when the deadline is pressing.

High-bay contract-logistics warehouse with pallets

Pallet shipping is the standard solution for general cargo in B2B transport: your goods stand secured on euro pallets (80 × 120 cm) and you pay a calculable price per slot instead of a whole truck. Whether a single pallet to a customer or 30 pallets to a central warehouse – the decisive factor is the choice between economical scheduled service and fast direct run.

Speed Logistics ships 1 to 30 euro pallets across Germany and Europe: in scheduled service via hub-and-spoke transhipment points in Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich, or as a direct run without transhipment when the deadline is pressing. You receive a fixed price per pallet – transparent and calculated within a few hours.

Scheduled service or direct run – two ways to the destination

  • Scheduled service (hub-and-spoke): your pallets run via our transhipment points with cross-docking – economical from a single pallet, transit time typically 2–4 working days.
  • Direct run: one vehicle exclusively for your shipment, without transhipment – for deadline-bound, sensitive or high-value pallet goods.
  • Part and full loads: from around 15 pallets a switch to a part load or a complete articulated truck with 33 slots is often worthwhile – we calculate both variants for you.

How to prepare your pallets correctly

A smooth pallet shipment begins at your ramp: stack the goods flush on the pallet (no overhangs), secure them with stretch film or strapping, use edge protection for pressure-sensitive goods and label every pallet clearly. Usual maximum heights are around 180–220 cm depending on vehicle and route – simply announce special dimensions and heavy single pallets with your enquiry, and we dispatch accordingly.

Process and pricing

You tell us the number of pallets, dimensions, weight, collection and delivery address. We calculate the fixed price per pallet and confirm the collection time window. After collection your shipment runs via the scheduled service or directly to the recipient – with a status update and a signed proof of delivery. For regular shipments we store fixed terms per lane so that your purchasing team can plan without individual enquiries.

Pallet shipping to Europe and non-EU countries

Besides domestic German lanes we ship pallets to all EU countries as well as to non-EU countries such as Türkiye or North Africa – there usually as a direct run or part load including complete customs clearance from EXW to DDP. So the international single pallet also stays plannable: one contact, one fixed price, one documented process.

Pallet exchange and load carriers

Besides the classic euro pallet (80 × 120 cm) we ship half pallets (60 × 80 cm), industrial pallets (100 × 120 cm), one-way pallets and mesh boxes. Whether pallets are exchanged at the destination we clarify before the trip: on exchange the driver receives empty euro pallets back in the same number and quality, otherwise we document the handover – so no open pallet accounts arise between you and your recipients.

Also important for the calculation is stackability: stackable pallets use the load space twice over and noticeably lower the price per pallet. Therefore state with your enquiry whether your goods are packed to bear load – we take that into account for vehicle choice and fixed price.

Frequently asked questions: Pallet Shipping

Can I also ship just a single pallet?

Yes. Pallet shipping from Speed Logistics starts with a single euro pallet – economically via the scheduled service with 2–4 working days transit. You pay a fixed price per pallet instead of a whole vehicle. Urgent single pallets we alternatively run as a direct run with a considerably shorter transit time.

How long does pallet shipping within Germany take?

In scheduled service via our hub-and-spoke transhipment points in Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich the transit time is typically 2–4 working days. As a direct run without transhipment, delivery is possible on the same or next working day depending on distance – for a corresponding surcharge for the exclusive vehicle.

How must a pallet be packed for shipping?

The goods should stand flush without overhang on the euro pallet (80 × 120 cm), secured with stretch film or strapping and, for sensitive goods, fitted with edge protection. Every pallet needs a clear label with recipient data. Usual maximum heights are around 180–220 cm depending on the vehicle.

What is cross-docking in pallet shipping?

In cross-docking, pallets are transferred at the transhipment point directly from the incoming to the outgoing vehicle without being stored. This keeps the transit time in scheduled service short and the costs low because no warehousing is incurred – the goods are only a few hours at the hub.

From how many pallets is a direct run or full load worthwhile?

As a rule of thumb: from around 15 pallets a part load or an exclusive vehicle often becomes cheaper than the slot price in scheduled service – an articulated truck holds 33 euro pallets. Speed Logistics calculates both variants for your specific lane and recommends the most economical solution for your deadline.

Does Speed Logistics also ship pallets to Türkiye or North Africa?

Yes. Pallets to non-EU countries such as Türkiye or North Africa we run as a direct run or part load – door to door including complete customs clearance from EXW to DDP. Our dispatch team handles the export declaration and border formalities, so the international single pallet also stays plannable at one fixed price.

How do I prepare pallets correctly for shipping?

Stack the goods flush without overhang on the euro pallet, secure them with stretch film or strapping, use edge protection for pressure-sensitive goods and label every pallet clearly. Usual maximum heights are around 180–220 cm depending on the vehicle. State with your enquiry whether the goods are stackable – that noticeably lowers the price per pallet.

Why does stackability lower the price per pallet?

Stackable pallets use the load space in height twice over, so more shipments fit on the same area. This spreads the vehicle costs over more slots and the price per pallet falls. Non-stackable goods, by contrast, occupy a whole slot on their own and should therefore be stated with the enquiry.
