Oversized and heavy haulage: permits included
Pipes with oversized length or high unit weight need a permit under § 29/§ 46 StVO (German Road Traffic Regulations) – and one for each federal state affected. We take on the complete permit management, check the route for turning radii, bridge loads and bottlenecks, and provide BF3 escort vehicles where needed or coordinate police escort. Permit lead times feed into the schedule from the outset so your laying plan holds.
Load securing for pipes: form-fit rather than risky
Pipes tend to roll and shift – securing determines both occupational safety and material quality. We stow on stanchion vehicles or in wedge cradles, secure form-fit with lashing chains and edge protection, and shield coated pipes (e.g. PE or epoxy coating) from pressure points that would damage the corrosion protection. Where needed, we coordinate crane or side-loader unloading directly at the pipe trench.
Delivery to the route – even off paved tracks
Pipeline sites move with construction progress. Our dispatch team coordinates every delivery date with your site management, clarifies access and ground conditions in advance and phases part deliveries along the laying progress – so the material lies where the crew is working, instead of being stored kilometres away.
International pipeline projects with customs clearance
For projects outside the EU – for example in Türkiye, North Africa, the Middle East or Central Asia – we handle, in addition to transport, the full customs clearance: export declaration, T1/T2 transit procedure and import in the destination country, delivery terms from EXW to DDP. You send us pipe dimensions, quantities, weights and the required date – we deliver an equipment proposal, fixed price and a reliable schedule.
Project logistics across the entire construction period
Pipeline and utility-line projects run over months – with changing quantities, moving unloading points and weather-dependent laying windows. We support such projects with a dedicated dispatcher who knows the construction progress and delivery plan: framework quantities are calculated in advance, call-offs are dispatched at short notice, changes are agreed directly between site management and dispatch. Combinations of works collection, interim storage at the transhipment point and route delivery we also plan as a continuous chain – so the material supply keeps pace with the laying crew, without costly stockpiling at the storage site.
